To best replicate the stonework to the Swilken Bridge, templates and site sizes were taken from the original bridge, stone was sourced locally including Angus sandstone, reclaimed field stone and beach stone.

The stone was built dry and numbered at our workshops before being transported to site in the South of England. The bridge was constructed and built on a reinforced concrete formwork in conjunction with a building/landscape contractor.
